More Prostitution Arrests Along Rt. 1

Vice operation results in 17 prostitution arrests



Howard County police have charged 17 people with solicitation of prostitution during an undercover operation in Jessup. Vice detectives and female officers worked Friday evening to identify suspects soliciting prostitutes along U.S. 1.



Female officers in plain clothes stood in areas targeted by citizen complaints to determine whether they would be approached and offered money for sex. Suspects who approached the female officers and made such offers were arrested.



The following suspects were arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution:



Charles Scott Davis, 57, of Annapolis

Jose Humberto Bonilla, 48, of Hyattsville

Herbert Alexander Rodriguez, 31, of Riverdale

Russell Dwayne James, 31, of Baltimore

Charles Abiodum Cole, 57, of Columbia

Jose Delores Jimenez-Torres, 54, of Woodbine

Rosendo Arroyo, 31, of Salisbury, N.C.

Carson Ray Christian, 77, of Laurel

Jason Michael Theissen, 30, of Savage

Jon D. Knox, 49, of Ellicott City

Javier G. Ramirez, 42, of Severn

Edwin A. Moran, 23, of Elkridge

Diego A. Chavez, 23, of Elkridge

Gary Lynn King, 43, of Gaithersburg

Abu Bakar Bayoh, 25, of Washington, D.C.

Carlos E. Lopez, 26, of Lanham

Otoniel Villeda, 23, of Laurel, also charged with second degree assault and resisting arrest
